In what is being seen as an attempt to bury the hatchet with the Caravan Club, BBC Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson has invited 50 members of the Caravan Club on an all expenses paid weekend camp on Llanfaelog Village Green on Anglesey, North Wales.
The 50 acre Village Green at Llanfaelog on Anglesey lies in a Site of Special Interest and Llanfaelog Community Council has recently renamed the Village Green Llyn Maelog (Welsh for Wet Gem) due to the damp early morning weather conditions in the area.
Mr. Clarkson has hired Llanfaelog Village Green for the first weekend in August and will personally be in the village on Friday evening to wave the first of the Caravan Club caravans on to the village green.
