Google is a trading name of BeatThatQuote.com Limited

On the Google Comparison site they say;

“Google is a trading name of BeatThatQuote.com Limited”

source: https://www.google.co.uk/compare/content/about/terms-and-conditions.html

Have they got that the right way round?

Can a company use another part of a company name as a trading name, and if so just who is the company providing the service?

Is the service provided by Google inc, Google UK Limited, BeatThatQuote.com Limited  or some other entity?

Effecively it appears as though they say Google is BeatThatQuote.com Limited is Google inc.

I thought one of the Company laws was that it must be clear just which company you are dealing with, as BeatThatQuote.com Limited is a registered UK company surely the laws apply to them?
