Google using teracent personalized ads without giving a message or opt out

I got followed around by a personalized ad today similar to Criteo, Struq, AdSense etc.┬ábut unlike the others this didn’t have the little message explaining what it was, and providing an opt out.

I dug a little deeper and discovered it was delivered by teracent.net who Google aquired in 2009

Are Google going to start doing this with AdSense ads too and scrap the AdChoices option?

I would like to know how google using teracent ties in with their privacy policy and Ads Preferences Manager – http://support.google.com/adsense/bin/static.py?hl=en-GB&ts=1631343&page=ts.cs&rd=3&contact=abg_afc
