It goes without saying that every medal won was a highlight, even those who won a silver or bronze when really wanting a gold, (this especially goes for the rowers who seemed distraught about losing out on a gold, even though they WON a silver)
The real highlights of London 2012 for me though were;
That Saturday night when Greg Rutherford, Mo Farah and Jessica Ennis all won a Gold medal within an hour – what an hour!

There are far too many others to mention, but one thing I would like to mention is the reaction of a Cuban boxers (sorry, don’t know name) when loosing a bout – a true gentleman
